Title Iconwelcome to ArtisAnne studio

Hi, I'm JoAnne and and I have enjoyed making and teaching in a range of crafts for over 30 years.

I started my journey in traditional arts as a lacemaker in the bobbin technique before side-stepping into the needle style of laces. I'm particularly proud of my achievements in the John Bull Lace Competition and you can see some of this work in my artwork showcase.

In 2002 I completed a Visual Arts Degree at the Winchester College of Art and since that time I have applied my skills to installation artworks and the creation of hand-made lampwork beads.

Today, trading as ArtisAnne, I work from my studio in Wiltshire to design and create styles of affordable, contemporary jewellery and artisan gifts - a hand-picked selection of which is available to buy from this website.

In a regular series of creative workshops I teach stitching and stringing beads; bobbin lacework and allied techniques; lampwork and other popular crafts.

My work has exhibited at the Fringe Arts Bath Festival as well as the Out of Place gallery of contemporary arts and I am to be regularly found on the Cloth Road Arts trail.

Take time to look around; browse the shop and featured designs.
